Creative Es1373 Sound Card Driver Windows 7 32bit By reading online posts I found creative is running behind on updates for Windows7 64bit. at the clock area now, go to Control Panel/Sound and make sure that you look at the drop down arrows in Playback and Record to make sure the card is listed by R.
- It's by far the best audio card that I've had, very low distortions and noise on A/D conversion (sometimes I get an analog recording that I re-master digitally).

There is nothing wrong with the mic, it has something to do with the soundcard. Keeping in mind mojodevo's suggestion that WDM Driver would work better for XP. Could I just have a defective card?
