Some desktop controllers use the igb driver though. useful reference I'm about to Test the j5 adapter and see if it runs for more than a few minutes. in my case (macbook air and macbook pro) the installer runs successfully, but as soon as the esxi kernel boots, it says that no supported network adapters were found.
